Research

The Archives of the Massachusetts Colonial Dames holds materials relating to the three properties for which it provides stewardship — Prescott House, Quincy Homestead, and Martin House Farm — as well as materials relating to the families who occupied these properties. The Archives is also the repository of the organizational history of the Colonial Dames in Massachusetts from its founding in 1893. We welcome research requests from the public.

To access the Archives, please submit the form below and a member of our Archives Committee or our staff will be in touch with you. If your research interest requires a visit to the Archives at our 55 Beacon Street headquarters, please note that we are open by appointment only Tuesday through Thursday, from 9 am to 3 pm.
