By Her Own Design explores the lives of the entrepreneurial female milliners of Boston from 1872 – 1929 through the incredible hats they created.

 

Visit the exhibition, open June 15th through September 22nd, and learn about social change in Gilded Age Boston through over one hundred objects from the NSCDA-MA Costume Collection. Join us to explore themes of class mobility, women’s rights, and industrialization.

How: Tickets can be purchased at the door for a suggested donation of $5 per guest
