Quincy Homestead Candlelight Tours

The NSCDA invites you to join us for a
unique opportunity to tour the Dorothy
Quincy Homestead at night….
by candlelight.
Experience what night was like for people in
the colonial period before electric or gas
lighting. Hear the Quincy story from enactors
playing the roles of the Reverend Samuel
Sewall, Dorothy Flynt Quincy and Dorothy
Quincy (Mrs. John Hancock).

We will be conducting four 30-45minute tours limited to the first floor.
Tours are limited to 10 people per group and will begin at:

7:00

7:30

Hand-held battery operated candles will be provided.
Enjoy some cider and donuts – children welcome!
Attendance is limited and pre-reservations are required.

Cost: A minimum fee of $10 for anyone over 12. Children under 12 are free.
Please note, we are happy to accept whatever donation above the minimum you may be willing to give to help fund our programs.

Your donation will be collected at the door – credit card payment is available.

(We request all children be accompanied by an adult and warn that this event may not be suitable for children under 5)

Please note, there will be no daytime tours that day. The Dorothy Quincy Homestead is a non-profit owned by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation and is managed as a museum property by the National Society of Colonial Dames of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
