Given by NSCDA-MA Collections Manager Liz Weisblatt

Expanding upon research from By Her Own Design: Women Milliners of Boston, this lecture will explore millinery work as a source of independence for women in the nineteenth century through primary sources, the stories of women milliners, and the incredible hats they made.
