DESCRIPTION:The town of Quincy is proud to host its very first Heritage Day! On Saturday\, September 27\, the Dorothy Quincy Homestead will be open to visitors from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.\, with free admission. Complimentary buses will be running throughout the city\, offering easy access to many of Quincy’s most historic landmarks—including the Adams sites\, Quincy House\, President Church\, and US Salem. It’s a wonderful opportunity to explore our city’s rich history—all free to the public! Come to Quincy on Saturday the 27th\, and make a special visit at Dorothy Quincy Homestead!

SUMMARY:Printing [as] Paul Revere: Andy Volpe at Quincy Homestead
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, June 28\, Quincy Homestead is hosting a presentation on printmaking in Paul Revere’s time.  Andy Volpe is a printer and “living historian”.  He studies and replicates the printing and drawing techniques of the Old Masters\, engravings of Paul Revere and creates commemorative work for periods of American history. \nMr. Volpe will show samples of his Revolutionary War work products and be available for questions and lively discussions from 11am to 2pm. \nGuided tours of the Homestead are conducted every 30 minutes\, on the hour and half hour. Cost is $10.00 per person\, donations are welcome. \nThe program is co-sponsored by the Massachusetts Cultural Council and the Quincy Art Council.
