Jones \nDirector of Museum Affairs and Chief Curator at The Preservation Society of Newport County\, Leslie B. Jones oversees the operations of 13 historic properties and a 150\,000-object collection. With a career spanning distinguished institutions such as the White House Historical Association and Cheekwood Estate & Gardens\, her expertise in curatorial research\, preservation\, and program development\, is widely recognized. Leslie brings a passion for connecting audiences with art\, history\, and culture. \nJean Brett Memorial Lecture  \nThe inaugural Jean Brett Memorial Lecture was held February 13\, 2008. This special endowed annual lecture is a gift from NSCDA MA member Jan Churchill Brett in memory of her mother Jean Thaxter Brett\, longtime active member of the Massachusetts Society.
